Valentine's Crafts For Seniors
Here are two Valentine’s Crafts for Seniors that can bring the whole family together. Gather up the kids and a few supplies and head on over to Grandma’s house to include her in the fun!
Heart Tube Stamp
All you need are toilet paper rolls, some paint and great creative ideas to make it shine!
This is a classic craft that seniors and family can easily set up.
- Cardboard Tubes | found in your paper towels, toilet paper or even your wrapping paper.
- Paint of your choosing | red or pink works well for Valentine’s day.
Now all you need to do is shape the cardboard tube. Simply squish and manipulate it until you reach the desired shape. If you are finding that the tube is becoming a little tough to work with, you can add a strip of tape around the tube to help it hold its shape.
This is not a new idea, but definitely a fun and easy craft for seniors and children.
Family Tree
A sweet gift for Mom, Grandma or Aunt for Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day. Have the family take turns adding their hand prints to a canvas or inexpensive throw.
- Poster Board, Throw or Canvas
- Paint for each persons hand.
You can surprise them or better yet get them to include their print on the artwork! Try a heart shape for Valentines Day!
